  Martin Küchen
 
     
  Born 1966.
Started out as a busker in the end of the eighties.Except for Sweden he visited the streets and marketplaces and subways in Berlin,Bologna, Vienna, Copenhagen and Oslo among other places.
He has been active on the Swedish free improvised/free jazz scene since the mid-1990s. He has composed for larger groups, participated in dance projects, performed with different poets and created the music for experimental films. He now collaborates with improvisors all over Europe and USA/Canada. His current collaborations include:
- Cloudchamber - a trio which plays ambient freeimprovised music with Sören Runolf and Johannes Bergmark
- Exploding Customer - a free jazz quartet with Tomas Hallonsten trumpet, Benjamin Quigley double bass and Kjell Nordeson drums, which plays mainly original compositions
- Sound of Mucus - a trio with the stringchordist Herman Müntzing and Andreas Axelsson, percussion
- Unsolicited Music Ensemble - a trio with Tony Wren, double bass and Raymond Strid, percussion
- a duo with guitarist David Stackenås
- "Projecto" with Burkhard Beins, Andrea Neumann and Johan Berthling
- a trio with Greek cello player Nikos Veliotis and Norwegian percussionist Ingar Zach who toured in Sweden and Norway in september 2002.

He also has collaborated with: Phil Minton, Martin Klapper, Adam Bohman, Jonathan Bohman, Sirone, Mark Sanders, Dror Feiler, Sten Sandell, Mark Wastell, Thomas Strönen, Rhodri Davies,Wolfgang Schliemann, Pat Thomas, Ulli Philipp, Rex Casswell, Per-Henrik Wallin a.o.

Küchen has written a number of pieces for larger groups, examples of which are:
- Trafficking - piece for 11 musicians (2000)
- Und wo bist Du jetzt, Adam? - scored play for X improvisors (2002)
- Kvartett für ett nytt sekel (2002)
- Styx I(In Charon´s absence they decide to swim) + Styx II (Angry Charon) (2002)


 
   
     
  Kjell Nordeson  
     
  Kjell Nordeson was born -64 in the north of Sweden. Lives in Stockholm. Studied classical percussion for Björn liljequist, Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, from 83-85. Founded the Aaly Trio 1986 together with Mats Gustafsson.
Nordeson plays the drums in following ensembles: Aaly Trio, Exploding Customer, Nacka Forum and Firehouse. He plays the vibes and other mallets in: Katzen Kapell, Stockholm Low Dynamic Orchestra, Christer Bothén Acoustic Ensemble and School Days.

He is also working as a composer writing music for dance performances. He founded in -94, together with choreographer and dancer Nathalie Ruiz, the ensemble Co. Alba.

Nordeson tours extensively in europe and in north america, and appears on a large number of CD's by the groups above and other.


 
   
     
  Tomas Hallonsten  
     
  Tomas Hallonsten plays the trumpet, accordeon and keyboards. Works in the field of jazz, free-impro, post-rock and electronica. Lives in Stockholm.
working with groups: Exploding customer, Tape, Pallin, Heikki, Vega, Sten Sandell, Bengt Berger´s Viltvarning, Ulf Sturesson.

  Benjamin Quigley  
     
  Benjamin Quigley was born in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1975. After moving to Sweden at an early age, he became interested in music and picked up the electric bass as a young teenager. Later on, he switched to acoustic bass and studied at Skurups Public High School and Malmoe College of Music.Now living in Stockholm, he enjoys performing in various clubs with Exploding Customer, touring with swedish artist Lars Demian and recording with experimental rock with Clark Nova. He is also a member of the strange and beautiful group Chesty Morgan and while not performing he reads the litterary works of Daniil Charms. His flawless technique has enabled him perform Delfayo Bront´és "Member of Lox" and "Inphertications I- IV" for solo bass.
